Member Spotlight

One of our most dedicated members, Vellington McManus, has recently been working with children in need in Chennai, India. These children are living in the outskirts of the city and do not have access to proper education. Mr. McManus is a church pastor in Chennai and decided to convert his church into a school for the children to come and learn for free. He enlists the help of locals and other organizations to help educate these children and prepare them for a bright future. Recently, he worked with a local organization to help one girl get closer to accomplishing her childhood dream to become a doctor by helping her gain admission into a medical college. Getting admission into medical college in India is especially difficult and I am very proud of Mr. McManus's initiative to help this young girl and many other children reach their dreams.
