Supporting Mr.Mulindwa

The child you see above is an orphan in the Macerudet orphanage in Uganda. Recently, I started working with Mr.Mulindwa Williams. He had reached out to me last year asking for help and outreach regarding his orphanage. Mr. Mulindwa is the director of Macerudet. With the recent obstacles presented by COVID-19, Mr.Mulindwa needed help educating his children and gaining financial and medical support. With the help of tutoring organization LCVA Tutors, I was able to fulfill his request. However, the work is never over. Over the course of my work with Mr.Mulindwa, I have fell in love with the orphanage and the people there. The support must go on. Please help me help the orphanage by spreading the word and increasing donations. I have sent scholastic materials and medical supplies, but I am always looking for more supplies to send over. The next phase of my work with Mr. Mulindwa is focused on sending technological devices such as iPads and chromebooks for the students to learn on. This way, there would be less of a need for books and the orphans would be able to learn through the devices. I also plan to work with Khan Academy to provide academic enrichment through the devices for the children. I am also working with the Ugandan Red Cross to bring attention towards the orphanage.
